Event Details

Join Script Your Future Baltimore for its third event in a series of medication adherence experiences, which will focus on enhancing the quality of communication between health care professionals and patients in the retail pharmacy setting, on Thursday, June 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy in Baltimore. This Medication Adherence Experience is a FREE event designed to bring together all health care professionals for a morning of training, networking and thoughtful discussion around medication adherence. A light breakfast will be served.

The third Medication Adherence Experience will feature:

  • Patient Panel:  Hear directly from patients with chronic conditions about their experiences with health care professionals and medication adherence.
  • Make the Most of Your Interaction with Patients in Five Minutes:  Walgreens will present techniques for making the most of your often-brief interactions with patients at the pharmacy counter by applying Medication Therapy Management principles to your conversations.
  • Approaches to Adherence Quality Metrics Panel:  Hear from CARE Pharmacies about new strategies for measuring and improving adherence in pharmacies.
