Event Details

Join the Origins Project at Arizona State University in welcoming NPR's Ira Flatow and the Science Friday team for a live taping of the show at the KAET Studio A, Downtown Campus.  Science Friday is a weekly science talk show, broadcast live over public radio stations nationwide from 2-4pm Eastern time as part of NPR's 'Talk of the Nation' programming. Each week, Science Friday focuses on science topics that are in the news and tries to bring an educated, balanced discussion to bear on the scientific issues at hand. Panels of expert guests join Science Friday's host, Ira Flatow, a veteran science journalist, to discuss science - and to take questions from listeners during the call-in portion of the program.

This event is free and open to the public but seats are limited.  Please reserve your seat by registering today. A maximum of four (4) seats may be reserved per person.  The show is two hours and we request that you remain seated for the entire duration. Print out your registration and bring it with you the day of the event. Doors will open at 10:00 am. Reserved seating will be released at 10:45 am the day of the show and open to the public, at the discretion of the producer.  For other events in the Origins Stories weekend including Science, Myth, Reality: The Unbelievers Test Screening and Panel Discussion and The Science of Storytelling, please see our Events page for information.
