School Safety Training

You are cordially invited to participate in a School Safety Training, which will be hosted by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and Federal Bureau of Investigation Los Angeles Field Office, in cooperation with the Pepperdine University, Tuesday, April 30, 2013. The meeting will be held at the Villa Graziadio Executive Dining Room on the Drescher Graduate Campus of Pepperdine University, 24255 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, California 90263.
The meeting will be held from 8:00am to 12:00pm. Check-in will begin at 7:00am. Please print your ticket and bring it with you for check-in. The following topics will be discussed:
- InfraGard - Public Private Partnership
- Active Shooter Response
- Mental Health of the School Shooter
- Targeted School Violence
This half-day training event is specifically designed for mental health practitioners, law enforcement officials, and members of K-12 schools.
This training will highlight the necessity to integrate law enforcement, school, and mental health partners to effectively and efficiently combat threats to the safety of school environments.
**Free parking is available at the "S" Parking Lot on the Drescher Graduate Campus of Pepperdine University.
