School Safety Training

You are cordially invited to participate in a School Safety Training, which will be hosted by the Orange County Sheriff's Department and Federal Bureau of Investigation Los Angeles Field Office, Tuesday, February 26, 2013. The meeting will be held at the Sheriff's Regional Training Academy, 15991 Armstrong Avenue, Tustin, CA 92782.
The meeting will be held from 8:00am to 12:00pm. Check-in will begin at 7:00am. Please print your ticket and bring it with you for check-in. The following topics will be discussed:
- School Mobile Assessment Resource Team (SMART)
- Social Media: Recognizing Risky Behavior
- Targeted School Violence
This half-day training event is specifically designed for mental health practitioners, law enforcement officials, and members of K-12 schools.
This training will highlight the necessity to integrate law enforcement, school, and mental health partners to effectively and efficiently combat threats to the safety of school environments.
**Free parking will be available in the Academy lot.
