When & Where
Santa Clara County Commission on the Status of Women (CSW)
Since 1973 CSW has acted in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors to study and investigate conditions which demonstrate discrimination or prejudice because of sex and gender. CSW has been active in keeping women's issues in the forefront of the public's attention and has worked diligently to advocate for equality and opportunity for women and girls in Santa Clara County. Forty-one years since its inception and there is much work to be done, but also much to celebrate. Each year we commemorate the 19th amendment and women's right to vote at our Women's Equality Day lunch.
