SCANJ's Walk The Talk Team for the McCourty Twins Tackle Sickle Cell 5K Run/Walk
Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (EDT)
Jersey City, NJ
You can't just talk the talk, you have to walk the walk! Support our efforts for sickle cell disease by signing up for SCANJ's Walk the Talk team for the
Tackle Sickle Cell 5K Run/Walk.
Funds raised will go directly to joint programming that educates, advocates and helps individuals living with sickle cell disease. Get in the huddle...
NFL players Devon and Jason McCourty have teamed up with Embrace Kids Foundation to host this walk. At SCANJ we know first hand that Embrace Kids Foundation (EK) truly does what they say in support of families with blood disorders including sickle cell disease. We are pleased to have partnered with EK on many SCANJ programs including the Sickle Cellabration, the Holiday Party South and the Poster Child Program.
Please note that you can sign up for SCANJ's Walk the Talk Team on this site, however, you must register directly with www.tacklesicklecell.org for the walk. We'll have fun, get some exercise and raise funds to support collaborative efforts that tackle sickle cell disease. Any contribution will help!
All donations are 100% tax-deductible. Thank you for your support!
