Join the Student Conservation Association for our ConSERVE NYC event at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge in Queens!

Jamaica Bay and other units of Gateway National Recreation Area are still recovering from the impacts of Superstorm Sandy. Volunteers will prune back overgrown vegetation, remove storm debris from the beach, and lay the groundwork for a new wheelchair-accessible trail.

This event is part of a yearlong series of public service projects hosted by SCA across New York City. With Saturday conservation projects at new sites each month, ConSERVE NYC offers volunteers the opportunity to help build resiliency in New York City's public lands—and to network with others who share an interest in urban conservation.
