Come out and network with other sports business professionals that work or live in the New York area. All backgrounds are welcome, from those just starting out to industry veterans. Make sure to pass this along to any friends and colleagues that would also be interested in attending. Remember, there is one "rule" for these events - no resumes. This event is all about networking and making valuable connections, so bring plenty of business cards and good conversation, but please, no resumes.
100% of the money raised will be donated to the NYC chapter of Team in Training. Team In Training is the endurance sports training program of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Celebrating 25 years and $1.3 billion raised for cancer research! Follow them on Twitter at @TNTNYC.
PLEASE READ: We want to make it clear that these events are for current sports business professionals with any range of experience. If you are looking to attend in order to attract potential customers (financial planners - I'm talking to you!), please do not register - this is not the event for you. Our focus is around professional networking to support career development. If you attend to solicit business, we will ask you to leave.

The Business Of Sports
TheBusinessOfSports.com is an industry blog dedicated to discussing new ideas and current events in sports business. The posts cover a wide range of topics, including ticket sales, marketing, social media, corporate sponsorships, fan loyalty, brand management, sports media, finance and more. The goal is to provide a valuable resource that other sports business professionals can learn from and contribute to.
To help bring together sports business professionals, we launched a series of networking events in major cities across the US and abroad called #SBWeek. We will use this EventBrite page for these events each year, with all ticket money raised being donated to charity. We will also use this for our one-off #SBNight events that take place throughout the year in several cities.
