Event Details

In this class you will learn to make a four gluten-free crusts with four different fillings. A serving of each tart with soup or salad with make delicious meal.

These tarts are easy and delicious for brunch, lunch or dinner. They can be made ahead and are also great to bring to a party or on a picnic.

Menu: (Vegtarian and gluten-free)

Great All-Purpose Gluten Free Crust with a Classic Flamiche Tart

Almond Flour Crust with a Mushroom Tart

Lemon Olive Oil Crust with Quinoa & Millet Flours with a Grilled Eggplant & Roasted Pepper Tart

Rice Flour, Quinoa & Amaranth Flour Crust with a Tomato Tart

At Mindful Cuisine, we teach cooking classes, hold DIY workshops, and create clandestine, chef-prepared Basement Table dinners. We use whole natural ingredients – seasonal, local and organic – good for you and the planet! Being well also means being part of a community. As people come together to share a meal they prepared or enjoy a chef-prepared Basement Table dinner, Mindful Cuisine creates community. 

Linda Elbert is a Ph.D. Psychologist who changed careers and went to cooking school. She now owns and runs Mindful Cuisine, which offers cooking classes and Basement Table dinners.
