Event Details

This month's Saturday Seminar with long-time Logos Associate Jim Wilson, senior pastor at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Los Alamitos, explores the supernatural acts of Jesus that are recorded in the Gospel of Mark, with a particular attention to the way Mark records the events to define and describe Jesus' central message that "the Kingdom of God is at hand."  The four sessions will focus on: 1) Jesus' miraculous power over nature, 2) Jesus' power to heal diseases, 3) Jesus' power to restore sight and hearing, and 4) Jesus' power to drive out evil spirits.

Along the way Jim will provide a definition of miracles, an understanding of the possibility and, indeed, probability of miracles, and a focus on the question "do miracles happen today?"

This is Jim's debute on the Logos "Saturday Seminar" circuit.  Let's give him a BIG welcome!
