In anticipation of the FY 2014-2015 San Mateo County Shuttle Program Call for Projects the San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA) and the City/County Association of Governments invite you to attend the San Mateo County Shuttle Program Call for Projects Workshop.
What is the San Mateo County Shuttle Program?
The goal of the San Mateo County Shuttle Program is to fund operating projects that meet local mobility needs and/or provide access to regional transit services in San Mateo County. Projects in the program should contribute to the overall goals of the Measure A Program to reduce commute corridor congestion, make regional connections, enhance safety and meet local mobility needs.
What will be covered at this workshop?
During the workshop, TA staff will provide an overview of the Shuttle Program criteria, which include the Call for Project guidelines and application process.
Who should attend?
The workshop is free and open to the public. Anyone interested in improving regional and local shuttle connections in San Mateo County is encouraged to attend.
Who is eligible to sponsor a project?
Eligible project sponsors include the County of San Mateo and all cities within the county. Other interested agencies may partner with an eligible sponsor, however, only eligible project sponsors may submit applications.

When and where will the workshop be held?
The workshop will take place at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014 at SamTrans' Second Floor Auditorium. The address is 1250 San Carlos Ave., San Carlos, CA 94070.
Is there public transportation to the workshop?
SamTrans' office is easily accessible via public transportation. The office is just a 5 minute walk from the San Carlos Caltrain Station and the SamTrans ECR El Camino Real/San Carlos Avenue bus stop.
