San Joaquin River Spring Kayaking
Get ready for summer paddling! In cooperation with the San Joaquin River Conservancy and the California Department of Boating and Waterways the Stewardship Program will be offering a spring kayaking program. You can take a kayak class from a certified United States Canoe Association instructor, brush up on your skills, explore the San Joaquin River, and participate in a variety of kayaking games. You will get a good workout and meet new friends.
While spring river flows are high we will be paddling at the PBC Pond. The calm water of the 15 acre Pond is an ideal place to learn water safety, basic strokes and prepare for your first river trip and future races. The Stewardship Program will provide all equipment including Jackson Riviera Sit on Top Kayaks and Jackson Rogue Sit in Side Kayaks.
