Who: Volunteers of all ages are welcome; minors under 18 require a signed waiver and children 12 require an accompanying adult unless prior approval is obtained from the workday supervisor.
What: Join us for a few hours of pulling invasive ivy or sheet mulching along San Francisquito Creek! Help us improve habitat for native insects, birds, fish and other animals as we work to help restore the "bottom of the food chain" - our native plants that support all other native life.
Where: We'll meet at the grassy park adjacent to the pumphouse at the intersection of Palo Alto Ave. and Hale St. and work on the streambank in that vicinity.
Please bring: A reusable water bottle and dress for outdoor work (sturdy shoes and long pants recommended). We provide gloves, tools, and snacks. Minors under 18 must bring a waiver form signed by a parent.
PLEASE NOTE: When you complete your registration for this event, you DO NOT need to print a receipt or ticket.
