Opening Preview Gala

To benefit the departments of Textile Arts and the

Arts of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas at the de Young.

About the event:

The gala features a global menu by McCalls Catering & Events, live entertainment, and the very best national and international art dealers and their treasures. Those who purchase tickets at the Enhanced Ticket, Benefactor Circle, Patron Circle, or Donor Circle levels will enjoy a cocktail reception and exclusive preview from 5 to 6 p.m.


All proceeds from this event will benefit the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.

 


Collectors Circle $1,500

  • Six gala tickets, including a cocktail reception and exclusive preview from 5 to 6 p.m.
  • Two tickets to attend a daylong celebration for the opening of Embodiments: Masterworks of African Figurative Sculpture at the de Young on January 31, 2015, including museum admission and priority seating at the opening-day symposium
  • Two tickets, including priority seating, to Collected Works: The Concept of the Corpus, a mini-symposium on Thursday, February 5, 2015
  • Two exhibition catalogues, one each for Lines on the Horizon: Native American Art from the Weisel Family Collection and Embodiments: Masterworks of African Figurative Sculpture
  • Recognition on event-related printed materials
  • Unlimited daily admission to the Tribal & Textile Arts Show
  • $1,200 tax deductible
