About the Cause: The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)3. Proceeds from the 2013 San Francisco Snow Ball will support athletes in all disciplines of the U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Snowboarding and U.S. Freeskiing, the only teams on the international circuit that receive no federal funding. More specifically, 100% of the monies raised will help fund year-round athlete training, competition, development and educational needs in the crucial years leading up to the next Olympic Winter Games.
The success of the athletes depends upon private donations and support from individuals like you. With the next Olympic Winter Games only months away, now is a crucial time to raise awareness to ensure the athletes are fully prepared to represent our country in Sochi, Russia. Click here to learn more.
A portion of every event donation is tax deductible.
Event Format: Instead of a formal seated dinner, the Snow Ball has a cocktail party structure to provide guests with the opportunity to meet and mingle with the athletes and other guests without being limited to a particular table or group for the entire night. Although there are no formal table assignments, there will be seating around the venue, plentiful passed hors d'oeuvres, an open bar, lavish food stations (equivalent to a full meal) and desserts as well as entertainment, an exclusive silent auction and a short program later in the evening. Cocktail attire preferred.

U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation
The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation raises funds to support the elite athletes in all disciplines of the U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Snowboarding and U.S. Freeskiing, the only teams on the international circuit that receive no federal funding. The Foundation is looking not only to support the year-round training, development, competition and educational needs of current athletes, but also to plan for the next generation of skiers and snowboarders watching at home and dreaming of the time they will stand on the podium to represent the United States.
