Fishmarket at... is an offsite season of contemporary art across Northampton whilst Fishmarket renovate their new building.
Salon Saloon is a series of monthly talks by artists and curators with opportunities for discussion and a chance to meet and network with artists, filmmakers and people working in the creative industries.
May's speaker is Jennie Syson, an independent curator and writer based in Nottingham. She is the founding director and curator of Hinterland, a series of site specific contemporary art projects in Nottingham and recently co-ordinated the fringe to the British Art Show 7, Sideshow. She is Editor of Nottingham Visual Arts and has consulted and curated across the UK and europe working with Contemporary Art Society and Pépinières Européennes. Jennie will be talking about her curatorial practice, in particular her work offsite and you are invited to join in with the discussion.

Fishmarket is a contemporary arts organisation based in the centre of Northampton. We work with artists at all stages of their careers to present an international programme. In 2012 we are leaving the Fishmarket building. We are moving to 9 Guildhall Road, Northampton NN1 1DP.
