Account Executive | San Francisco, CA

We are building a team of highly-motivated, start-up oriented, energetic, sales super-stars to hit it out of the park as salespeople on our Conference and Registration focused sales team. The opportunity is big, the demand for our solution is high, and successful candidates will bring creativity, possess strong communication skills, and have the competitive desire to be the best.

Position Summary:

This position offers you a world of opportunity - bring your professional skills to work with you and help us enable our clients to execute world-class events. The position requires leaders that want to win, want to be a part of a winning team, and who have high standards of performance.  In this role, you’ll work with new contacts to introduce and get them excited about Eventbrite.  You will be responsible for selling prospects on our unique value proposition and solution, and evangelize our solution to ensure that the broader market understands how we are changing the way registration is done.
Ideal candidates have 2-3+ years of selling experience, possess raw intelligence, a fun and convincing personality, a passion for learning about new people and products, detail orientiation, an enthusiasm for sales, and a drive to consistently raise the bar of success. Additionally, ideal candidates can successfully build and maintain relationships, can work across functions within Eventbrite, can sell against competition, and can effectively deliver presentations and create unique messaging to all levels within a prospect account. 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Engage with warm leads to help prospective clients learn more about our product
  • Cold call prospective clients to facilitate new business
  • Use CRM system to update and maintain leads
  • Develop your own sales forecasts in the registration category

Required Skills:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in sales meeting or exceeding quota
  • Desire to work in a startup environment
  • Familiarity with current web technology
  • Firm understanding of how to identify target customers, buyer interest and win deals.
