Are you a woman in tech? Are you a woman looking to start a career in tech?
Women, particularly those in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) fields, often don’t negotiate salaries for numerous reasons, including fear and not knowing how to determine their professional value. Negotiating even a 5% increase in salary could result in tens of thousands of dollars more in income over the course of a your career.
You could put in a few extra hours of work now and be paid thousands more each year for the rest of your career. Sounds like a no-brainer, right?
Taking the time to develop and execute a salary negotiation could provide you with a significant earnings boost that you can enjoy year after year. This workshop will discuss the psychology of negotiating, how to prepare for salary discussions, the negotiation process, and things to check before signing on the dotted line.
