Rush AMWA presents The Vagina Monologues

Rush's American Medical Women's Association (AMWA) is pleased to present:
Eve Ensler's award winning
The Vagina Monologues
The performance will be by Rush University students and begin at 7:00 PM in room 976 of the Armour Academic Center at Rush University
This performance is part of a greater effort to use The Vagina Monologues to raise awareness and end violence against women. The UN estimates that 35% of women, world-wide, have experienced a form of physical or sexual violence. Many attacks go unreported.
Proceeds from this year's ticket sales and donations will be dontated to Apna Ghar. Apna Ghar's mission is to "provide holistic services to women and children across immigrant communities in the Chicago area to end the cycle of domestic violence. Apna Ghar empowers women to be self-sufficient by a full spectrum of services from education to emergency and transitional housing to counseling and legal services."
Tickets: $7 online (before February 6th) $10 at the door (cash or credit accepted)
