A sit down, prix fixe, rustic feast prepared by Manny Augello of Bread & Circus Provisions and Greg Walls of Johnson's Boucaniere
Social gathering of cocktails and pass around food begins at 6:00.
Dinner begins at 7:00.
A short film (all about food!) will accompany dessert.
Bring Your Own Alcohol. We encourage wine, beer, champagne. It will most likely be a little chilly so maybe a little flask of whiskey...whatever you think you might enjoy. And if want to bring more for sharing, bravo! That's what these dinners are all about.
Once we receive your money, we will notify you via email. The actual address of the dinner will not be announced until the Friday before the dinner.
There is no dress code for Runaway Dish, but we tell everyone to think "dinner party". The venue is semi-outdoors and a bit rustic (but elegant). It might be chilly so dress accordingly!
All proceeds from the dinner will benefit the Southern Screen Film Festival (www.southernscreen.org)

When & Where
Runaway Dish is a private, not-for-profit organization with a mission to promote the creative culinary talents and resources that thrive in Southern Louisiana while raising funds for local, very important charities. Our mission is accomplished by hosting dinner parties throughout the year at surprise locations. Each themed dinner will spotlight a different chef and a different charity.
We want to create an environment filled with daring chefs and adventurous foodies....where friends and strangers will talk for hours over well prepared food and a great bottle of wine. In return, we do not ask the chefs to donate anything besides their creativity and time. The ticket price covers all of the costs for each dinner (food, staff, equipment rentals, entertainment, etc.) with all remaining money going to a specific charity. No profits....just really incredible food experiences that expand, enhance, and celebrate our entire community.
