Our Online Registration Period will end at 11pm on Friday, BUT YOU CAN WALK IN AND REGISTER ON SATURDAY MORNING.

We are running the Training Rain or Shine.  See you there!

Yes, there is still a benefit to coming in the second half, if you can't make it in the morning.

The AADCMC, in partnership with Montgomery County Education Association, the Young Democrats of Montgomery County, and Progressive Maryland, presents:

"Run to Win! 2014 and Beyond" 

A 1-day comprehensive training camp for men and women who wish to take their community service to another level.

Saturday, Sept. 29th, from 8a.m. to 6p.m.

  • Have you thought you could make a difference in your community?

  • Have you wanted to suppor causes that change people's lives for the better by creating legislation?

  • Is there a candidate you want to support or a campaign you want to work on in 2014, but you don't know where to fit in? 

  • Have you thought of running as a candidate for County Council, State Delegate, State Senator, Congress, or the local School Board, but you need some tools to get up and running and to be succesful?

    IF YES, THEN THIS 1-DAY TRAINING WORKSHOP IS FOR YOU!

    DON'T WAIT!  REGISTER TODAY.

Breakout Sessions include: Fundraising, Campaign Management, Messaging & Communications, and Voter Contact.  A special session will be offered for women candidates by Emerge Maryland.

Experienced Trainers from Wellstone, New Organizing Institute, the DNC, and Progressive Majority.


Speakers: Maryland Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown; Joslyn Williams, President, Metro Labor Council; Montgomery County Councilmember Craig Rice; Adrian Christian, Chief of Staff, Congresswoman Donna Edwards; and Bill Romani, Field Outreach Expert.


Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all registrants BUT You Must Register Before the Day of the Event.
