Join the Lincoln Park Boat Club in supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana (RMHC®-CNI)!
From 9AM to 9 PM on Thursday, December 13th we will be hosting an ergathon at Union Station to raise funds to support both the Boat Club and RMHC-CNI in their mission to keep families of hospitalized children together when they need it most. Each and every night, the four Ronald McDonald Houses in the Chicagoland area provide care, comfort and a ‘home away from home’ for 140 families so they can stay close to their child in the hospital. For more information about RMHC-CNI please visit RonaldHouseChicago.org.
In addition to touching the lives of many others, the local Charity has cared for one of our own. As he can tell you, the couches in a hospital lobby could never compare to the comfort of a bed in a Ronald McDonald House. Please join us in supporting RMHC-CNI and their immense dedication to helping others during their greatest time of need and the dedication of our club to serve Chicago's rowing community.
Be a part of this event by renting a booth, buying a block of time on the rowing machines we will have at Union Station's Great Hall, or by making a donation. If you love to compete, consider forming a relay team to race! Registration is available online and will also be available on-site. Onsite registration begins at 8:30 AM and there will be no additional fee at the door.
Whether you are an accomplished rower, a novice, or just someone passing through, we ask you to please come out and support the club and this incredible organization. If you've only ever seen an erg and wondered how it works, we will be happy to teach you the proper technique.
We hope to see you at Union Station and look forward to celebrating both Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana and our club! With your help, we can make a tremendous contribution to a charity committed to helping families weather the storms when their child is sick.
Thank you for your support!
