Event Details

As faculty members or TAs, you may be the first to notice a student who is experiencing difficulty or distress.  Should you be concerned? Do you know what steps to take to assist these students?  Do you have questions about your own obligations or responsibilities to a student in distress? Do you have questions about how the university responds to and develops strategies for assisting students of concern?

Join CAPS, Student Affairs, and the Searle Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching for a roundtable discussion on how NU instructors can intervene in these important situations and the resources available to help students in distress.
