Organizer

Charlotte North Rotary Club

Charlotte North Rotary Club is the organizer of the Rotary Peace Walk. Charlotte North Rotary was chartered on December 1, 1952 with its original meeting place at The R. Horace Johnston YMCA, generally known as the North Charlotte YMCA. This is how the club got its name 60-years ago. Our present meeting venue is Byron's Southend, 101 W. Worthington Ave, Charlotte, NC 28203. More details can be found at www.charlottenorthrotaryclub.org.

Charlotte North Rotary Club is a member club of Rotary District 7680, which serves fourteen counties in the west-central region of North Carolina. Each county has at least one Rotary club. There are 58 clubs in District 7680 with about 3000 Rotarians who share similar values and are dedicated to serving the needs of their communities and helping others around the world. By raising funds with the Rotary Peace Walk, we will be able to support peace programs at CMS schools in Charlotte, and also support global peace initiatives.
