The popular Roswell Mayor's Ride kicks off this day of cycling festivities with a multi-distance recreational bicycle ride for all levels and abilities of riders. Route options include a free 6-mile fun Family Ride, as well as 20, 42 and 62-mile route options. Ride this ride in the morning and spend the rest of the day at rest of the cycling activities. The Roswell Criterium provides spectators with a full day of top professional and amateur cyclists' racing in a format that is often called the "most spectator-friendly" form of bicycle races. High speeds and challenging turns provide thrills for spectators and cyclists alike.
The Kid's Bicycle Safety Rodeo provides youngsters aged 6 to 12 years of age with a "class" on bicycle handling and safety. "Graduates" of this event will be able to participate in their own "race" on nearby Canton Street when the amateurs and pros race. Register on-site.
