Roosevelt Row Chile Pepper Festival
On September 29, 2012, Roosevelt Row CDC will host the first-annual Roosevelt Row Chile Pepper Festival. "The homage to the Southwestern ingredient will feature heapin' helpin's of the Valley's best chile pepper dishes" from local celebrity chefs, restaurants and gourmet food trucks. More chile chow with on-site chile roasting by Crooked Sky Farms. A Four Peaks beer & Don Julio margarita garden and live music will also be on the menu. The winner's of the Festival’s Chile Challenge and Salsa Showdown will be announced that night and the festivities will culminate with pepper princess, Tammie Brown, from Rupaul's All Stars Drag Race who will reveal the first-ever Chile Pepper Queen!

Tickets: $10 in advance, $15 at the gate. Admission covers the cost of entry, live music & entertainment, and free salsa sampling & voting. Children 4 and under free admission. Food from each restaurant/food truck will be for sale. Cash bar.
