Peer Mentoring (Lead by Danny Wallen, ROCKHARBOR Equipping Coach)
Who are your 3 closest friends? Leadership often has a tendency to isolate. Peer Mentoring is the most available form of relational empowerment, yet the least developed. We all have acquaintances and friends, but do we have a few really close people in our lives that we can tell everything to? That will tell us everything? We will draw from Scripture, leadership principles and personal experience as we evaluate our friendships and aim to “be known” by a few key people in our lives.
Redefining Leadership (Lead by Matt Barnes, ROCKHARBOR Leadership Ascent Director and Director of Creative Development & Production for David C. Cook Publishing)
What is leadership? If you read 10 different books, you’re likely to find 10 different definitions. It’s hard to even know who the leaders are these days and what it means if you are one! Clearly, we’ve overcomplicated this. Come and discover the simplicity of leadership and discover what true leadership looks like in your life as a Christ follower.
Women in Leadership Panel (Moderated by Kirsten Nielsen, ROCKHARBOR Associate Pastor of Community Life)
Women face unique challenges in assuming positions of leadership in our culture. Come and hear from a panel of women who have made a huge impact. Panelists include Michelle Anthony (Family Ministry Architect @ David C. Cook Publishing and former ROCKHARBOR Families Pastor), Jessie Simonson (Director of Art & Sales a@ 31 Bits), and Kathleen Doyle ().
The Cost of Ownership (Lead by Michael Dauphinee, CEO of The Dauphine Group Inc. & Andrew Richards, ROCKHARBOR Director of Global Reach)
What does it mean to fully embody the talents that God has given us? What barriers get in the way? Join an interactive discussion on how we can truly steward who God has made us to be.
The Leadership Challenge: Simple Behaviors That Significantly Effect Our Leadership Effectiveness (Lead by Doug Berry, ROCKHARBOR Pastoral Coach & Certified Leadership Challenge Workshop Facilitator)
Over the last twenty-five years, The Leadership Challenge has established a reputation as a research-driven, evidence-based leadership development model with a simple, yet profound, principle at its core: leadership is a measurable, learnable, and teachable set of behaviors.
"The Leadership Challenge has been my primary leadership text since 1988. It is the blue print for getting others to want to do what we are convinced needs to be done and is required reading for anyone who aspires to be a next-generation leader." — Andy Stanley, founding pastor, North Point Community Church
