Athletes will compete in a series of 5 strongman based events over the course of the day, with only the top 6 men and women moving on to the last event. Event will start at 8 and finish by 1, just in time for everyone to join us for Park Ave Fest!!! Come hang, pic up some heavy shit with some awesome people and share a few adult beverages (results) afterward.
So we have had a lot of requests for a modified division for this event, I love the desire of our members and others in the community to participate in a variety of events and do not want to restrict those that want to get involved. On the flip side this is meant to be a strongman style event and I will not be changing the listed weights below.
Here is the comprimise...you can choose to drop into a lower weight class than what you are eligible for and participate (thus modifying the workouts) but you will not be eligible to win the event.
This is a CrossFit Strongman Event, movements will be heavy! You will see stones, axles, farmer carries, yokes, logs and sleds!
Weight Classes are as follows:
Up to 175#
Up to 125#

Back Squat - Men: 260/290/320/350 Women: 155/185/215/245
Farmer Carry (per hand) - Men: 135/155/175/195 Women: 95/115/135/155
Stones - Men: 175/205/205/245 Women: 115/130/145/160
Yoke - Men: 435/500/565/630 Women: 225/275/325/375
Dog Sled (sled +) - Men: 180/225/270/315 Women: 125/150/175/200
