Teach a machine to knit in this hands on workshop! Participants will create a digital image and learn how to program it into a knitting machine which will produce it in yarn. Each design will produce two identical squares—one for the participant to take home, and one which will be incorporated into a large art piece over the course of the workshops.
Required: must be age 14 or older; must have basic computer and mouse skills;Chicago residents must have a Chicago Public Library card; others must present a photo ID.
Please be on time. No participants will be admitted later than 5 minutes after class has started.
