Scooter points challenge on the back roads of Texas. All classes of scooters and mopeds included.
No raffle or t-shirts just a patch for those that compete, and a special deluxe patch for those that win. Registration will be enough to cover patches and award dinner.
The routes are designed for each class to be able to legally ride and complete scored tasks within 7 hours. Start between 8 & 9 am with the deadline being between 3 & 4 pm.
Routes are designed using times from Google Maps + 90 minutes for scavenger task completion and fuel/food/restroom stops.
Each class has same number of points available.
Points will be earned by traveling through certain control points on the route in order.
Photographic or GPS proof must be provided.
Additional points are earned by completing scavenger tasks that range from photos of historical markers or certain intersections.
Bonus points available for special tasks that may include dirt roads or something especially goofy like getting a stranger to square dance with you.
BIG points for costumes.
