Hello and good day to all of you fine, well tailored dubstepping children. We welcome you to yet another installment of Ritual, the filthiest and nastiest event in the solar system. This week, May 3rd, 2012 we welcome the following law abiding citizens to play music for you on their gramophone devices...
With His roots in Denver dnb and dubstep, Surpass is now firmly planted in Seattle where he continues to delve deep into both arenas. A 2011 release cemented him on the Play Me Too roster, joining Brap Dem! , Bass Hound, LU10 Records, Gradient Audio, and Filthy Digital bolstering his already impressive works with local powerhouses Onset Audio and Shift recordings; where Surpass saw a vinyl release in 2010 (Shift007). Capable of bringing you vibes that are deep and melodic this apt musician has an appetite for the rough and rugged. Delivering the right balance of mood and aggressiveness Surpass is known for impressive sets that keep the floor on their heels.

Ritual has proudly become an icon in the Bay Area dubstep scene and solidified itself as the biggest dubstep weekly on the west coast. This is not possible without the positivity from the music lovers that join us every week. With our humble beginnings in a tiny club, we eventually expanded to the famous Temple Nightclub in San Francisco with hundreds of dancing people joining us every Thursday.
A local publication stated: "These crazy Irie Cartel kids are showing no signs of slowing down as they expand their party into Los angeles in 2012, and manage Irie Cartel Recordings. Ritual has had legendary performers grace the DJ booth as well as given many new comers the chance to shine and share their gift."
This is an experience that is fueled by the people, and is made strong by the love for each other, life, music and dance. The Ritual family is one that is ever growing and we strive to make everyone feel welcome, whether you are a newbie, or a long time die hard. If you have never been to one of our events, feel free to make yourself at home and introduce yourself to the crew. BIG LOVE!!!
