*At the end of each class all dancers will gather in studio #1 for an informal showing (20 minutes). Each class will share (perform) the material learned.

Ken Bell, a solo tap performer since age 8, worked with Don Johnson Orchestra, in night
clubs, hotels, Disneyland, Academy Awards and Warner Brothers 50th Anniversary.
Former tap teacher at El Camino College, he lives and teaches in Las Vegas.
Denise Donovan co-directs the Riverside Community College Touring Ensemble and
is faculty at RCC and Village Dance Arts. She performs her choreography, Tap-n-Taiko,
with the Taiko Center of LA and performs duets with Fred Strickler.
Monti Ellison, world-renowned percussionist, composer, and member of Rhapsody
In Taps, has performed in Broadway shows, teaches drumming and African dance at
Loyola Marymount, OCC and CSULB. Rest your tired feet and learn Bucket Drumming!
Christy Hernandez performed with Rhapsody In Taps, produced five Northern
California Tap Workshops, and currently directs Dance 4 Joy Ministries and the
“Collision Tap Company” at the Academy of Performing Arts at Huntington Beach H.S.
Channing Cook Holmes’ syncopated tap style, drumming, vocals and natural audience
appeal have taken him around the world. Featured with Jazz Tap Ensemble, Riverdance, in
Bojangles and Gangs of NY, Channing also produced the hit show Got Rhythm!
Hiroshi Hamanishi toured internationally with Caution: Men at Work, Tap! and has
performed with Rhapsody In Taps, James Brown Band and the Jazz Tap Ensemble.
He teaches tap at the Colburn School, El Camino College and Loyola Marymount U.
Joey Letteri teaches tap at USC, Santa Monica College and choreographed for
numerous colleges, studios and conventions. In China he was tap choreographer and
teacher for world renowned Hong Kong singer Jacky Cheung’s 1/2 Century World Tour.
Sarah Reich’s dynamic tap style has made her a sought out teacher and performer
worldwide. Her credits include TV ‘s SYTYCD & Sabado Gigante, and she is a
member of A.C.G.I., Syncopated Ladies, Tap Music Project and Sole Sisters.
Gregg Russell, Emmy nominated choreographer, worked with stars such as Gene
Kelly, Nicholas Brothers and Michael Jackson. His latest projects include performing
on “Dancing with the Stars” and training ballroom star Derek Hough for a feature film.
Denise Scheerer performed with the Jazz Tap Ensemble, choreographed for Seattle
Opera, Empty Space Theatre and Seattle Civic Light Opera, and taught tap at LMU
for 5 years. She directs the Tap and Musical Theatre program at LA’s Colburn School.
Linda Sohl-Ellison, Artistic Director/Choreographer and soloist with Rhapsody in Taps
since 1981, has toured, choreographed and taught tap worldwide. She is a Professor
of Dance at Orange Coast College for 35 years, teaching tap and other dance forms.
Steve Zee teaches tap at CSU Long Beach, and has been a member of Rhapsody In
Taps and the Jazz Tap Ensemble. He directs his company, Ironworks and performs his
one-man tap and comedy show at the M Bar in Hollywood, local venues and in Europe.
