Rising Leaders Present: 2014 Idea Jamathon
Saturday, June 28, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (PDT)
San Francisco, CA
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
On Saturday, June 28th, Full Circle Fund's Rising Leaders will present the second annual Idea Jamathon at change.org. The Rising Leaders are a cohort of young professionals within the Full Circle Fund membership; the group pioneered the Jamathon as a collaborative impact model to advance social enterprises outside of Full Circle Fund's grant portfolio.
The event brings together Full Circle Fund Members, community partners, and social entrepreneurs for an afternoon of networking & hands-on impact consulting. We will work with eight organizations outside of our current grant portfolio to workshop solutions to a pressing challenge in just two hours. At the end of the day, we will leverage grant dollars through a flash giving circle where YOU can fund the solutions you care about!
CHALK/Youth Funding Youth Initiative

How It Works
At the event, each organization will share a brief verbal pitch to introduce their organization's work and challenge. Then, our audience will self-select into working groups to brainstorm solutions to this challenge in just a few hours.
After the sessions, we will reconvene to share demo-style wrap-ups and leverage resources. In past Jamathons, the Rising Leaders have disbursed additional funding as singular grants to the solution they found most innovative. This year, we will infuse financial resources by way of a flash giving circle! Each participant will direct a small portion of funds at their own discretion, so YOU can help advance the solutions you are most impressed by.
