Event Details

A Taste of Iceland Festival will host the FREE 'Reykjavik Calling' concert at Le Poisson Rouge on Saturday, October 5th.  The concert will include performances by 3 emerging Icelandic musicians and 2 emerging American artists. DJ Caveman, one of the American artists, will join the Icelandic musicians to perform in October at the Iceland Airwaves Festival in Reykjavik (Iceland's version of the Glastonbury Music Festival).  Reykjavik Calling attendees will be able to experience the next big thing in Icelandic & American music.

Doors for the 18+ show are at 6PM. This ticket does not guarantee entree, entrance is first-come, first-served.

Icelandic Performers: Singer-songwriter Snorri Helgason, Iceland's queen of alternative pop Lára Rúnars & electro four-piece Sykur

American Performers: Petter Stakee (of NY Rock band Alberta Cross) & DJ Abbey Braden Raymode (half of the vinyl-only DJ team The Raymodes)

Caveman will no longer be performing at the concert.
