Presented by Dr. Pat Gibson and Dr. Shannon Dammann Downs
Take time out of your ordinary existence to listen and attune to your authentic self and incorporate this life changing information to step into a different perspective of you. Dr. Pat Gibson will present cutting edge information that will assist you in understanding what may be blocking you as you make your way to a more authentic self and give you tools to assist you in breaking through to a new perspective. The information is designed to give you an opportunity to look at yourself in ways that you may not have considered before.
This event will take place on November 10, 2012 and will be held at the LINK Counseling Center located at 348 Mt. Vernon Hwy. NE Sandy Springs, Ga. 30328. These retreats are generally offered outside of Atlanta and after having a number of requests this one will be offered “closer to home”.
Dr. Shannon Dammann Downs will also be presenting and brings her integrative approach to healing.
The retreat is limited to thirty participants so if you are interested please sign up today. If you know someone who would benefit from this experience please feel free to pass it on.
What others think about "The Science of Happiness"
This workshop was an invitation to explore new perspectives on what challenges me personally, and engage a healthier response to those "curve balls," while honoring myself and others. In her workshop, Dr. Gibson gifted us in her humble way by sharing her story, with humor and earned wisdom. She then engaged us with respect and compassion for our humanity, and imparted practical, research-proven methods for finding our own clarity and solutions to the root of personal challenges. Honor yourself by attending one!

I attended the Retreat into Happiness in Highlands, NC as a present to myself for my 50th birthday in February. It was a perfect next step in the work that I had done the past year in believing in myself. The weekend was a time for me to focus on myself to relax and experience the inner peace. The retreat was a wonderful mix of dialog with others, guided meditation and personal reflection. I look forward to future retreats to continue my work.
