Rethinking the Urban Space:
Creating a Place for Smart Mobility

Hosted by THNK and the Dutch Consulate General
Doors open at 5:30PM on Dec. 9

 Urban space

The imperative to stimulate new forms of urban transportation is growing. Yet many cities in the US and in the Netherlands are densely populated and their infrastructures are highly developed. This leaves little room for new advancements in the urban space.

In terms of transport and mobility, this raises a number of questions, such as: where should charging units for the increasing number of electric vehicles be located? How can we create a safe place for cyclists on narrow roads dominated by cars and surrounded by buildings? And what is the role and responsibility of governments, stakeholders and society or consumers in initiating a dialogue to find potential solutions?

We invite you to come think with us about these issues during an interactive session:

                                   5:30    Doors open
6:00    Key note speaker on urban mobility + Q&A
7:00    THNK “Eye Opener” and THNK “Reframe” Workshops
                                   8:15    Networking drinks
                                   9:00    End
