Thelma Wells has been encouraging women for over 30 years. She has spoken all over the nation with Women of Faith, Extraordinary Women, Christian Women in Media, and countless other women's groups, workshops and conferences. Although she is in her 70's now (and looks and feels great), she never stops! In 2001, she received her Masters of Divinity from Masters International School of Divinity in Evansville, Indiana. In 2006, she was ordained upon receiving an honorary Doctorate from St. Thomas Christian Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Florida. Her messages can be heard on NRB Channel 378 on Direct TV and on American Family Radio KSUR 88.9FM and KBDE 89.9FM with her "Mama T Says…" radio spots. Her book titles include Don’t Give In – God Wants YOU to Win!, Ready to Win over Depression, Mama T Says…Rise & Shine: Devotions with a Kick, Ready to Win over Worry & Anxiety, God, Give Me Victory Over Anger! and her newest DVD Bible Study, “God, I’m Ready to Walk in Faith." Thelma has been married to George Wells, her best friend, supporter, and encourager, for more than 50 years. They have three children, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Sheryl Jacob currently resides in Oklahoma City with her husband of 9 years and their sons Elijah and Ezra. She is a Marriage and Family Therapist and currently works with children, women, couples and families that have gone through trauma. Sheryl enjoys watching Chopped on the Food Network and creating her own recipes.
Jill King is the Glocal Impact Local Pastor at Northwood Church in Keller, Texas. She mobilizes the church to engage in the city by building relationships in the context of local ministry. Jill connects the church to serve refugees, low income apartment communities, and title one schools. She is a passionate writer, and enjoys poetry. Jill holds a Social Work degree from Baylor University.
Amber Chacko has been a foster care and adoption advocate for over seven years. She is the co-founder of GLO (God Loves Orphans), a support group for foster and adoptive families in DFW. She is a foster parent trainer, leads the Sisters Ministry at LifeChurch.tv (Fort Worth) and is a board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Arlington. She enjoys music, reading, cooking and serving. In addition to all the above, she has one husband and three children!
Lydia Varela founded Renew Not Retail as a means to make positive change in the local community. Combining her extensive marketing experience, strong community relationships, and her passions for reusing clothing, saving money and green practices, Lydia is creating a hub where clothing donations, fabulous fashion, art and fun events come together to show consumers how cool textile recycling can be. A natural connector, Lydia enjoys volunteering, networking, local arts and social media. Lydia holds a Marketing Communications degree from The University of Texas at Arlington.
Dieula Previlon is the founder and executive director of ElevateHer International Ministries. A wife and mother to three boys, she is a Life Purpose Coach, Entrepreneur, International Missions Expert, Motivational Speaker and Preacher. She received her Masters in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and is passionate about empowering women worldwide. She always enjoys a good conversation and relaxing with family and friends.
