Event Details

Slavery exists in New York City.

Restore exists to do something about it.

Restore would like to cordially invite you to be a guest at our Freedom Gala on Thursday, March 18, 2010 from 8:00pm to 11:00pm at Orensanz located at 172 Norfolk Street.

This will be an unforgettable evening filled with live musical performances, a silent auction, a reading of a client's story, food, wine, beer, and much more.

Please come, celebrate, and join our vision to provide the city's first long term safe house for international survivors of sex trafficking in New York City. All proceeds from the event will go towards opening a safe house, as well as towards providing continued operational support for our current services and programs.

This event is not a sit down dinner. Cocktail attire is required.

 -Matching Program Update-

Dear friends,
We're less than 24 hours away from the Restore Freedom Gala! Your generosity and support mean so much to all of us and we look forward to celebrating with you as we work together to raise funds to help women break free from slavery in New York City.
An anonymous individual has generously agreed to match, 100%, your donations the evening of the event—provided that your donations total at least $50,000. Is that a great deal of money? Yes. Is it out of the realm of possibility? NO. Here are the ways you'll be able to help us reach that goal on March 18th:
Make an additional donation by check, cash or credit/debit card at the donation table.
If you are unable to attend because you are out of town/out of state, please feel free to log on to restorenyc.org/donate to give the day of the event. Any amount is appreciated!
Pledge an amount to be credited on Thursday. Send an e-mail to info@restorenyc.org with your name, address, phone number, and amount you’d like to donate. A Restore representative will follow up to confirm your information and method of payment.
Write a check. Checks payable to Restore NYC, Inc. can be mailed to: Restore NYC, Inc. Bowling Green Station, PO Box 1003, New York, NY 10274. Please include your name, address, and phone number on your check so that we may acknowledge and send you a receipt for your contribution.
Our donor has agreed to match ONLY if we raise at least $50,000 in individual giving on March 18th in order to maximize our total fundraising on one incredible night.

Let's make it happen. $100,000 means laying the foundation to opening our safe house. It means providing ongoing holistic care for our clients. It means helping them take real and measurable steps away from sexual slavery and toward a life of hope and freedom.

Many thanks, and please pass this on to anyone who would want to help. See you on Thursday!
