Join us for a screening of the short-cut of Glaical Balance, a documentary that explores glacial research and the local impacts of the melting of the Andean glacier reserve. Film to be followed by a presentation and question-and-answer session with climate expert Dr. Lonnie Thompson and filmmaker Ethan Steinman. Dr. Thompson is an Ohio State University School of Earth Sciences professor and research scientist with the Byrd Polar Research Center, who has led 54 programs and has been published in more than 185 peer-reviewed publications.
