The Winter Wonderland class is designed to show various techniques in stenciling, royal icing piping, and pulled and intro to basic blown sugar The gifts will be adorned with stencil patterns, and the royal icing piping and sugar work will add extra detail to the piece. Other details will be added to complete the scene. Also, he will show you how to make your blown sugar illuminate. This class is sponsored by Fondarific

This class is intended for the novice to professional. If you have never covered a cake in fondant before, this class may be challenging.
This class is 8 hours and will take place on December 2, 2012
CLASS PAYMENT OPTIONS
Payment must be made in full. The cost of the class is $300. Payments may be split in 2 parts. Final payment is due 2 weeks prior to class. The first 10 people to register get a FREE copy of Dana Herbert's cookbook the "Sweet and Savory Union"

Students should bring to class
· 1 full sheet cake drum
- 2 12 inch square Styrofoam dummy, 3 inches high
- 2 8 inch square Styrofoam dummy, 3 inches high
- 2 6 inch square Styrofoam dummy, 3 inches high
- 1 8 inch round Styrofoam dummy, 3 inches high
- 1 artist brush (paint brush)
- 1 pastry brush
- 2 small containers of pearl luster
- 1 fondant rolling pin
- Fondant paddles/smoothers
· Pizza cutter
· Utility/exacto knife
· 1 small offset spatula
· Cornstarch or powdered sugar for dusting
· 1 small piping bag with coupler
· 1 sheet of parchment paper (standard size at grocery store)
