Rescheduled Program With David Flink: Thinking Differently About Learning
Monday, May 13, 2013 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
Join us for the rescheduled program with inspiring speaker David Flink, co-founder of Eye to Eye, a national mentoring movement for children with learning disabilities. Diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD as a child, David struggled in school and found it impossible to believe he would be able to attend college. Since graduating from Brown University, he has devoted himself to helping other children with learning disabilities understand that they, too can learn and can succeed in school.
Currently finishing a book titled "Thinking Differently: Reframing Learning for a New Generation,” David gives young people a sense of how to gain the courage to overcome life’s challenges.
Parents may bring children 4th grade and older to the program.
