Renee and Chaim Gross Foundation
Tour the house-museum of American sculptor Chaim Gross (1904-91) with the Gross Foundation's executive director Dr. Susan Fisher. One of the 2013 OHNY Weekend's most popular sites, the Gross Foundation is a hidden treasure located in a four-story 1830s Greenwich Village townhouse, home to the artist's sculpture studio, art gallery, and living quarters. The tour will visit all four floors of this unique building, portions of which are not open to the public, while also highlighting Gross' extensive art collection of over 7,000 objects, almost 2,000 of which are on view.
