Event Details

More than a year has passed since the senseless killing of Trayvon Martin but the implications of his death for people of color and other marginalized groups continue to resonate. Join us as we bring discussion of these issues to NYU and begin to think about what it means to be an informed and effective ally.

Featured panelists include Michael Skolnik of the Trayvon Martin Foundation, Rashad Robinson, Executive Director of ColorofChange.org, Ejeris Dixon, Deputy Director of the Anti-Violence Project, and Johanna Miller, Interim Advocacy Director of the New York Civil Liberties Union.

Refreshments will be served.
