All are welcome to join a delicious and relaxing YNA Upstate New York naked retreat June 29-30th. It will take place in the beautiful Ithaca area to nourish and liberate the mind, body, and soul. This area is an amazing hub for organic, local vegetarian cuisine and the leaders of YNA Upstate NY, Steve and Susanne, welcome you to their artisanal cheese-producing farm.
This is a weekend retreat to honor the beauty that exists inside and out in a safe and sacred circle through wholesome cooking, yoga, and connecting with Mother Earth. We will glorify the true magnificence of ourselves in a clothing optional sanctuary. Being naked allows for full expression of divinity, in harmony with nature and with our hearts. If you have never experienced social nudity at a YNA event before, please read our FAQs.
Come be educated on how to use all of our senses to sip and savor locally produced wine, learn how to cook fantastic haute vegetarian cuisine, develop mind-body awareness through yoga, and cultivate a deeper unconditional love and acceptance for all. This is a time to appreciate YOU!
12-2pm Arrival, introductions, schmooze.
2pm Opening drum circle to honor the elements and ourselves.
3pm Local wine and cheese tasting. We will be educated on how to savor, sip, taste three different locally produced wines in addition to pairings with homemade goat and cow cheese, fresh bread, and seasonal fruits.
5pm Tour of the farm, play with the animals, nature walk, relax.
6pm We will prepare a colorful communal vegetarian feast together, highlighting local seasonal flavors. Using ingredients sourced from the fantastic Ithaca farmers market and surrounding bakeries and farms, Sarah Eve will use her professional culinary skills to educate us how to foster healthy whole body wellness. Dinner will also include a heavenly homemade (but healthy!) chocolate dessert course. Cacao is food of the gods, heart-opening, and will be made of course with love.
9am Sunshine yoga. We will wake up and honor our bodies and spirits through sun salutations, simple asanas (postures), and guided meditation.
10am Vegetarian brunch including homemade granola, muffins, quiche using homemade goat cheese, and more! All ingredients will be organic if possible, local, and sans white flour, sugar, processed foods.
1pm Closing circle.

Let us be free to simply be!

About the Farm: Steve and Susanne own a farm near Ithaca in beautiful upstate New York where they make handcrafted cheese, mostly goat chevres, blue, and feta, but recently expanded their business into delicious cow milk cheeses. Susanne is originally from Germany, land of FKK (free body culture), and Steve is from upstate New York. For more info about them, check out their first blog post, "Nude Freedom of the Mind and Body." As small scale artisanal cheese makers they have been very involved in the locavore foodie movement and sustainable agriculture. The Ithaca area of New York is a mecca of the foodie movement and one of the original locations where the national movement has its roots. Steve and Susanne are passionate about naturism, body acceptance, inner healing, and balance of mind, body, and spirit. They have a desire to share their farm, home and hearts with people who seek peace, love, and freedom with their fellow earth brothers and sisters, creation, and Creator.
About the Chef: Sarah Eve Cardell is The Culinary Shaman, making magic in the kitchen and healing from the heart. She believes in the power of community, allowing the divine to guide yoga, shamanic, crystal, tarot, and nutrition knowledge for whole-body wellness and healing. She is an experienced chef and food artist, creating visually and nutritiously inspiring cuisine. A lifelong vegetarian and certified Dharma Yoga teacher, Sarah Eve infuses spirituality into her cooking. Her decadent desserts and savory entrees prove that healthy cuisine can be beautifully delicious. She has worked extensively with restaurants in NYC, Bali, and Singapore, designing menus utilizing local flavors, as well as leading holistic workshops and retreats. She often favors the use of raw cacao, an ingredient filled with antioxidants and abundant vitamins…and is a natural aphrodisiac. Love and light.
Young Naturists & Nudists America (YNA)
Young Naturists & Nudists America (YNA) is a young nudist organization founded in 2010. We are based in NYC & NJ with an active chapter on the west coast as well called YNA SoCal.
Our naturist organization is continually growing, and we hope to bring nudism to all of mainstream America! We welcome everyone to join us and to try social nudity before deciding if it is for you or not. We accept people from all walks of life, regardless of race, color, sexual orientation, tattoos, and piercings. Through naturism/ social nudity, we advocate for body acceptance, positive body image and seeing people for who they are as human beings, rather than what they look like.
The nudist movement, and nudism as an ideal, used to be about acceptance, so we say - back to the basics!
Read more about us on our website and join us at our next "Nude Night Out" party or naked event to experience social nudity & other meet like-minded people!
