Regional Floodplain Management Workshop
$15 Registration Fee Includes Lunch
Objective: This course is designed to provide an overview of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and discuss changes resulting from the Biggert-Waters Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2012 and the new Community Rating System manual. The workshop will also include a review of effective mitigation strategies and the Coastal Resilience Index tool. An interactive, facilitated panel discussion will provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions pertaining to the course content.
