Dear Region 5 Partners,

The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) is examining how best to serve rural communities around the state, and would like to engage you in our Colorado Blueprint 2.0 initiative. The goal of Blueprint 2.0 is to identify additional opportunities to leverage available resources as a way to advance your regional economic development priorities. To kick off this initiative, we are hosting a listening and strategy session with economic development practitioners, business leaders, elected officials, non-profit representatives and other stakeholders who are key to the economic success of your region.

The Region 5 meeting will take place on August 6th, 2015 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Limon Community Building located at 477 D Ave, Limon, Co 80828

After this conversation, OEDIT will assess the priorities discussed and identify opportunities to better leverage relationships with other state and federal agencies, as well as private sector partners, in order to advance your regional economic development strategies. OEDIT will organize an implementation meeting for your region in the fall to bring together the resources and partnerships necessary to best assist with the advancement of the economic development strategies identified during the strategy session.
