Refresh Your Affordable Housing Search is a drop-in session for people in the entertainment industry who are actively searching and applying for affordable rental housing in New York City. You must have already taken the Finding Affordable Housing seminar with The Actors Fund to attend. (No exceptions). In this session, you will:
- Learn about current opportunities to apply for subsidized affordable housing lotteries and waiting lists. (Applications for the waiting list for the two Actors Fund buildings, the Dorothy Ross Friedman Residence and the Schermerhorn, will also be available.)
- Review and share tips for searching for new housing opportunities.
- Share experiences and ask questions about application and interview processes.
Feel free to bring housing applications or correspondence from management companies that you have questions about. We will do our best to assist you.
This session will be offered again throughout the year. Please check the workshop calendar on The Actors Fund’s website for new dates, which will be added as they are scheduled. If you have further questions about this session, please email Rebecca Sauer: firstname.lastname@example.org.
