Real-World ASP.NET Web API Applications
In this session, we’re gonna build a full stack web application from scratch, adapt it to mobile browsing, support client authentication and authorization, test it, Implement continuous integration and deployment, Integrate MongoDB and publish everything to the outer world. All of that, in 2 hours super focused session about how to build a full stack environment. Lightning fast.
We're gonna cover:
- ASP.NET WebApi Overview.
- Testable Controllers & Dependency Injection using StructureMap
- Extending Backbone.js to support WebApi Authentication & Authorization mechanism.
- Supporting Mobile Browsing using Bootstrap for WebApi.
- Integrating MongoDB & Data Entities using IRepository Pattern
- Log Management (to Mongo)
- CI + CD using AppHarbor cloud deployment platform and git Integration
(This session requires basic understanding of ASP.NET MVC or Web API. We will have a short introduction to ASP.NET Web API before diving in)

About the Speaker
Effie Arditi is a Co-Founder & Head of Software at Hachiko - startup that enables people to “talk” with their dogs while away using cloud connected hardware and mobile devices. Prior to Hachiko, Effie was VP R&D at Choozer, a social networks search optimization service. Effie has more than 13 years of industry experience and has extensive knowledge in Large scale internet applications, Mobile development and Development methodologies .

The parking is free at Microsoft's guests' parking area for registered participants only. Moreover, we have to pass invitees list to the parking staff 2 business days prior the event. Therefore, you have to register till February 17th, to appear on invitees list and to be allowed entering the parking. Unless your name appear on the list, you will be redirected to one of the paid parking, so please, register and secure the parking lot. Please make sure you enter you full name (in Hebrew) correctly during the registration process.
