Join us for a half day Workshop at our office as we dive into a Real Talk discussion, continental breakfast will be provided.
How do we truly have real dialogue so we can gain the real value of Diversity & Inclusion (D&I)? What kind of environment do we have to create? What understanding, beliefs and behaviors have to exist? What causes us to connect or disconnect with others and how do we properly assess factors? The true value of D&I is true dialogue. The factors that impact real discussions—safety, competence and willingness. In this workshop we will assess the impact self preservation and cultural conditioning has on honestly sharing with others, understand how to assess our own lens on how we view the world while at the same time respecting the lens of others. Lastly we will explore how we can get in touch with the many ways we and others identify and define who they really are so we can meet them at a place that leads to real exchange.
To achieve its goals, a team must harness the talents of its human resources. To create real dialogue among diverse team members, they must be willing to share and consider ideas. This course will explore how fear and discomfort can impede “open sharing”; and will pinpoint behaviors and skills needed to create real dialogue.
