Writers interested in getting representation or furthering their projects in TV, Film, and Book Publishing will learn what really goes on behind the scenes with agents and producers, how to best present their projects, and tips to help their chances. Tools, strategies, and techniques on how to effectively package and pitch their work to agents, producers, and publishers will be covered. As an added bonus, literary agent Crystal Flores, will provide all participants with submission and proposal templates to help guide writers through this process.
Crystal Flores is a Literary Agent and Talent Manager within the publishing, film, and television departments for The Dunham Group. Originally from San Antonio, TX, she has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, and has worked in project management and software development for both Microsoft and IBM. In addition to working for Fortune 50 companies, she also did research in Nanotechnology at the University of Washington. Although Crystal was doing ground breaking work in science and technology, her true passion is storytelling. She is now following her dreams and putting her talents to good use, acting, modeling, writing, and representing her gifted and talented literary clients. In her spare time she studies her craft, teaches salsa, knits, takes her dog to the beach, and loves to give back to her community.
